And I'm here to help!
I grew up in a suburb of New York City and spent nearly my entire young adult and early professional years living in Manhattan.
How did this idea for a business come about you may ask?
Well, I've always had a passion for real estate, spending hours scrolling on Zillow and StreetEasy. The idea of moving, packing, searching, and negotiating has never been daunting for me. In fact, I love it. However, moving into my first NYC apartment brought about lots of challenges that I never experienced in other rental markets.
The market here is cut throat, expensive, and can be really shady, there is no denying that.
I'm the type of person that if I want something, I do it and I'm relentless in making it work, with level-setting realness. I took it upon myself to learn how to work with brokers, terminology, market trends, and listing navigation to make sure my apartment felt like home.
Simply put, I was tired of getting screwed over. And then I got tired of watching it happen to my friends.
After tireless years of interactions with the NYC rental market, I finally figured out a system to the best deals and how to "crack the code." Several years back, I began helping friends with their own apartment hunts, seeing as though there was no service in NYC that could help. Surely enough, what started as a nascent hobby has become a blooming and unique business.
NYC is nomadic. People love to move, especially within the city. With rapidly changing individual needs, my hope is that I can find you a space that can be your slice of comfort in the hustle and bustle. You may not stay in the apartment forever but my goal is to ensure you aren't leaving it because of a terrible experience.
